All partner agencies of the Board have signed up to work together to put recently updated Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures into operation and to raise the awareness of safeguarding adults with staff, service users or patients, their families and carers, elected members and the general public.
Partner agencies agreed that the adult safeguarding policy and procedures should govern all safeguarding work with adults at risk in Oldham. The policy and updated procedures, therefore, apply to all professionals and agencies working with adults at risk in the borough.
