Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board are proud to support the Greater Manchester Modern Day Slavery Week of Action.

To mark Anti-Slavery Day 2025, partner agencies across Greater Manchester are coordinating a week-long programme of events and campaigns. Anti-Slavery Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the fact over 49.6 million people in the world today, and an estimated 136,000 people in the UK, are trapped in conditions of modern slavery. It was created by the Anti-Slavery Day Act

From 17 October, a number of activities are taking place across Greater Manchester to raise public awareness around Modern Day Slavery and promote best practice for people working in Greater Manchester to identify and report Modern Day Slavery.
