Partners from OSAB and the Oldham Domestic Abuse Partnership have pulled together the following domestic abuse resources for use by practitioners in Oldham. 

  • Useful Publications - Resources include Oldham’s Domestic Abuse Strategy, local domestic abuse research and data, as well as key national guidelines and publications.
  • Campaign Videos, Materials, and Leaflets - Resources include leaflets, easy read information, podcasts the Eggshells Campaign video produced in partnership with domestic abuse survivors in Oldham.
  • Training Materials - Resources include free training packs and 7 minute briefings for teams as well as toolkits and links to learning from Oldham’s Domestic Homicide Reviews.

Domestic Homicide Reviews
Statutory Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) are locally conducted multi-agency reviews of the circumstances in which the death of a person aged 16 or over has, or appears to have, resulted from violence, abuse or neglect by:

  • a person to whom he or she was related, or with whom he or she was or had been in an intimate personal relationship; or,
  • a member of the same household as himself or herself.
